Christmas season is now upon us. While all the hustle and bustle is exhilarating to say the least, it is also our happiest time. It gives us yet another opportunity to delight and bring a smile to people’s faces. This year, we had the privilege of decorating the Rivercree Resort & Casino. Commercial holiday decorating definitely presents a unique challenge, but it was one we were happy to accept. Within this extravagant larger-than-life environment, we chose to add dashes of Christmas throughout the casino, rather than overwhelming each room. Here’s a peek with what we came up with.

The kids are back in school, warmer jackets have been pulled out of the closets, pencils are sharpened and we are bracing for winter, our busiest season. Our summer was an absolute delight. In May our design department expanded into float design. What started as simply tracking down some unique fringe for a client eventually grew into giving a helping hand with a client’s float, then a little design, then another, then another and then another. We are now excited to say that we can provide everything one may need for their float as well as complimentary consultations. Recently we…

A few weeks ago we shot our Holiday Winter Gift Basket Catalogue. In designing and filling the baskets we wanted to capture the essence of the holidays – quiet afternoons at home, having a glass of wine by the fire, playing games with family, and lots of sweets & treats. Jillian, our in-house photographer, did such a lovely job of capturing this vision through her photographs and the design of the catalogue.

Patricia’s son just celebrated his 8th birthday. Like many children, Patricia’s son is a huge fan of the tremendously popular video game, Minecraft. For those non-gamers out there, this game is a non-competitive video game that uses very basic graphics to build things, from a basic hut to a exquisite palace. Upon first blush, the low quality pixel blocks and images can seem daunting to create an entire party themed around this game. But we found that this theme actually shapes up to be vibrant, unique and super fun party theme!

Serve your guests an array of truly Canadian foods – like poutine, Saskatoon berry pie and maple EVERYTHING! Why not invite each guest to bring a different dish representing cuisine from each province? From British Columbia vines to Quebec maple syrup to lobster from Nova Scotia. Give them the true Canadian…

For those who don’t know, Cinco de Mayo (Spanish for the 5th of May) is a celebration of Mexican heritage and pride and a great excuse for a Fiesta!. Cinco de Mayo is a regional holiday in Puebla to commemorate the Mexican army’s victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5th, 1862. This holiday is not to be confused with Mexican Independence Day (Grito de Dolores) which is celebrated September 16th.
